The symposium on October 10th take place at the recently opened Railcenter in Amersfoort, Soesterweg 244, 3812 BH Amersfoort. For more information, look at www.railcenter.nl. The Innovation Festival on October 11th is located in different locations nearby the Railcenter. The main stage is at Veerensmederij Soesterweg 330, 3812 BH Amersfoort. 

Both locations are in the same area, same route from parking and station, but a 5 minutes longer walk. At October 11th there are free shuttle busses bringing you from the parking place (P+R Q Park) to the location.

By public transport
The Railcenter is close to Amersfoort’s central station. It is only 6 minutes walking.
When you leave the station at the backside (where supermarket Albert Heijn is situated), you walk to the left straight to the well-signed parking place P+R. Follow this road, with the parking on your right. After 4 minutes you see the Railcenter on your right hand.

By car
Because of limited parking space, we kindly ask you to park your car at the P+R on the backside of the station (Q-Park). From there it is a 5 minutes walk to the Railcenter. From your car you walk away from the station (into the ‘Wagenwerkplaats’) with the parking on your right. You see the building Railcenter on your right hand.

On the 10th of October everyone who was involved in the ExploRail program and everyone is interested in the results of ExploRail is welcome to visit the research symposium. Attendees are mainly researchers and rail managers.

On the 11th, every railprofessional, engineer, market party, knowledge institute is welcome to celebrate the rail innovation festival with us.

There is no fee, but we have a maximum visitor amount. So sign up quickly!

Yes, of course. When you sign up for the event, you decide which days you attend.

On the research symposium the 10th, main language is English. On the festival the 11th it is Dutch (with a few workshops in English).

ExploRail is an initiatiave of (and funded by) ProRail, together with NWO. The event organization is outsourced to Elba-Rec.
